You will soon be seeing more macro/closeup photography on the website. I got away from it for a while because of the summer heat we are experiencing around here. High temps are tough on an old man. But guess what? It is something I can do indoors, too, so it is going to be a bring the mountain (flowers & plants) to Muhammad (me) kind of thing.
I will be using the simple setup shown below.

I dug two of my old foam poster boards, one white, one black, out of the hall closet (they were in better condition than I thought they might be). I will use the two existing LED lamps that I have on my desk. And even though I have a very nice macro lens for my Canon 6D that would probably work best for something like this, I am going to tryout my Fujifilm X-T5 with its Fujinon Super EBC XF 16-50mm 1:2.8-4.8 R LM WR lens instead. Last but not least, I am patiently waiting for delivery of a Leofoto MT-02C Mini Tripod to use as a tabletop tripod. It should arrive in about 8 days, giving me plenty of time to do some rearranging and make room for it all on my currently very messy desktop (below).
