Dirt roads have a mysterious appetite for wheel covers, quietly collecting them like trophies while unsuspecting drivers bounce along, blissfully unaware that one of their hubcaps has just achieved total independence. One particularly enthusiastic pothole, a strategically placed rock, or a washboard section is all it takes for a wheel cover to launch into the sagebrush with the confidence of a NASA mission. It’s one of off-roading’s oldest traditions: the dirt road always gets a souvenir, and it’s usually made of plastic.
I say it’s a 2017-2019 Hyundai Elantra 16-inch factory wheel cover, probably with SE trim. What do you think?
