Hatch Chile Sauce

Hatch chile salsa. Delicious. My neighbor, Celia, made this salsa and kindly brought some over for my wife and I to enjoy. It was gone in two days, along with a bag of tortilla chips. Yum. I’ve been meaning to try and make some myself, but I haven’t yet. During Hatch chile season (usually August to September) there’s a Mexican market in town that carries fresh green Hatch chiles at a reasonable price, but I always think about them too early or too late and never seem to get over there at the right time. I’ll have to mark my calendar so I can be sure to get a couple bagfuls and make Hatch chile salsa next year.
