Joshua Tree

Joshua Tree National Park is home to a remarkable variety of plants adapted to the harsh conditions of the Mojave and Colorado deserts. Its namesake Joshua trees, along with yuccas, cholla cacti, creosote bushes, and seasonal wildflowers, have developed unique ways to survive extreme temperatures and limited rainfall. Together, these hardy plants create a diverse and resilient desert ecosystem.
