My wife made us a great dinner tonight. Turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, dressing, and cranberry sauce. I’m getting excited. Hungry, too.
And there are going to be leftovers soon. No matter how small of a turkey breast we bake, or how we try to scale down the dressing, mashed potatoes, and cranberry sauce, we always have food left over after Thanksgiving dinner. I think the solution (as if we really needed one) would be to invite a few more friends over for dinner. But I like having leftovers. I count on it, in fact. So I’m very sorry but you are not invited this year.
