We haven’t grown basil in our backyard for a coupe of years now and it’s bothered me, not only because fresh basil is an herb I never like to be without, but also because it makes me feel like I’m getting lazy and growing too old to bother with potted plants. Many things in my life are moving in that direction these days and I don’t care for it one damned bit. Now might be a good time for a shopping trip to the nursery.
