Dried Japanese Privet Leaves

Dried Japanese privet (Ligustrum japonicum) leaves have little practical household use, although their shapes and prominent veins can make them attractive for botanical displays, pressed-plant collections, crafts, and photography. They can also be composted with other yard waste, but they should not be used for tea, cooking, or other edible preparations, since privet contains compounds that can be toxic if ingested by people or pets.
